Your homework for today was to investigate a little about the evolution of 80´s Rock and Roll.
What aspects of the evolution interest you?
As part of your brainstorming process, you have to create  a mental map with images and some ideas to explore.
Go to this website and make a book to illustrate your ideas...

Where it says author, write your complete names.
TAG (bottom): type the image you´re looking for. Drag the image you want onto the page.
To turn the page, click on the right hand corner (top).
To add more pages, click on the + sign.

Class Rules



Class Rules/ Reglamento del Salón de Clase

Hello and welcome back to school. I hope you all had a great break!
Hola y bienvenidos de regreso a clases. Espero que hayan disfrutado sus vacaciones.
Please read the class rules carefully.  Favor de leer el siguiente reglamento detenidamente.

The class blog for 4th Semester is/ El blog de 4o semestre es:

Tardiness/ Retardos
  • ·       For the 7 am class, you have 15 minutes to get to class.
  • ·       Para la clase de las 7, tienen una tolerancia de 15 minutos.
  • ·       For any other class, you have 5 minutes to get to class.  You may not come in after attendance has been taken.
  • ·       Para cualquier otra clase, tienen una tolerancia de 5 minutos. No podrán entrar después de que se haya pasado lista.


Absences/ Faltas
  • ·       If you´re sick, please bring your official note from the school control office. I will only accept late work with a COPY of the official note. You have 1 day after your absence to turn in any late work. The work won´t be graded until you turn in your official excuse note. No doctor´s notes or parent´s notes will be accepted to excuse an absence.
  • ·       Si te enfermas, favor de traer tu justificante oficial de Control Escolar. Solo se aceptarán tareas o trabajos tarde con un justificante oficial. Tienes 1 día para entregar tu trabajo. La tarea no se calificará hasta que yo reciba tu justificante. No se aceptan recetas ni recados de padres para justificar una falta.
  • ·       In order to have the right to take the Extraordinary Exam, you must have 90% attendance for the semester. A 2-hour class counts as 2 classes.
  • ·       Para tener derecho a Extraordinario, debes de tener un 90% de asistencia durante el semestre. Las clases de 2 horas cuentan por 2 clases.


Computer Lab Rules/ Reglas del Laboratorio de Computación
  • ·       No food or drinks in lab, EVER.
  • ·       Favor de no traer comida o bebidas al laboratorio.
  • ·       Don´t use USB´s. If you need to save information, send yourself an e-mail. If you are caught using them, it will be confiscated and your parents will have to come pick it up.
  • ·       Favor de no usar USB’s. Si es necesario guardar información, mandate un mail. Si se te sorprende usando una memoria en el laboratorio, ésta será confiscada y solo tus padres podrán recogerla.


Classwork/Homework/Trabajos/Tareas
  • ·       All your work should have a date on it, your full name and your group number.
  • ·       Todo tu trabajo deberá tener la fecha, tu nombre completo y tu grupo.
  • ·       For all assignments, write original sentences. Please don´t copy/paste from the internet and don´t use “Translator.” All unoriginal work will get a ZERO and you will not be allowed to re-submit it.
  • ·       Para todos los trabajos, escribe tus propias oraciones. Por favor no copies y pegues de la web, y no uses “Traductor.” Todo trabajo copiado o traducido no obtendrá crédito y no se te permitirá volverlo a entregar.
  • ·       No late work will be accepted without an official excuse note.
  • ·       No se aceptará ningún trabajo fuera de tiempo, al menos que tu falta sea justificada con un justificante oficial.
