The Sounds That Make Me Happy

Hello all ;)

This is your lab activity for the week of 16-20 April.
1.  Take a sound tour around the world. Plan a trip with 3 stopovers (escalas) and listen to the sounds of cities you are interested in.

http://turbulence.org/soundtransit/search/

2.  Next, make a list of 10 sounds that make you happy and write a sentence explaining why they make you feel good.
For example:
The sound of the rain makes me feel happy because it reminds me of spring and new beginnings.
You can make a list at the following link:

http://www.thingstobehappyabout.com/

3.  Last, make a recording of the sounds that make you feel good. Save the sounds using a cell phone and bring them to class to do a mini oral presentation. You will be assigned a date to do your presentation. This is the ONLY day you can do your presentation.

If you have any questions, please talk to me at the end of class.
Thank you!
